Hello

Wait a minute... Who are you?

I'm Kyle, a 16 year old programmer / student / living being from New Zealand (yes, we do exist)!

I love coding, home labbing, messing around with random sh*t, playing indie games, and listening to Twenty One Pilots on my navidrome server.

I'm also one of the founding members of KiwiHacks, and I've run 4 hackathons for high schoolers in New Zealand and Australia!

Coding?

I love coding, especially using low level languages like C, C++, and my favourite, Rust

I don't really like web development, though I've done my fair share (this is like the 999999th time I've made a personal site, plus I did a lot of work on kiwihacks.org, and nova.kiwihacks.org)

I also really like making games using the GOAT, Godot! Check out my itch.io!

Home labbing?

I have a tiny Intel NUC running Fedora Server and about 15 docker containers, with things like navidrome, jellyfin, and pihole. I also have a Pi 5 running Home Assistant, and a VPS (yes, I know that's not in my home) running a minecraft server (check out the map at mc.codingcorner.dev!), as well as some other services that I would otherwise need to port-forward.

Gaming?

I love indie games, particularly the Hollow Knight series, the Binding of Isaac, and Celeste. I've also recently (as of Oct '26) started playing Nine Sols.

Music? Navidrome?

I used to use Apple Music, but they kept raising their prices. Now I own my music and use a navidrome server or my Innoasis Y1 to listen. The majority of my (small) library is twenty one pilots, with some other artists of various genres mixed in. (I've never been one of those people with a favourite song or genre...)

Hey, what's this colorscheme?
